I saw several other doctors before
meeting Dr. Garrison, and they were numb and inconsiderate of my
addiction to food. Dr. Garrison made me feel like he genuinely wanted
to treat my illness and was concerned with the way I felt about
myself... I was so afraid of complications but he made me feel like I
was in ample hands. Even going into the surgery room I was confident
he was treating me with the best care possible. He spent time with me
after surgery in the hospital and didn't make me feel like he was
rushing on his rounds. He really wanted to make sure I was ok, like a
friend. My mom is a RN and even she said he is the most professional,
caring surgeon/doctor she has ever met. I've seen many doctors over
the years whether it be for me, my son, or relatives and he rates a

My first impression of Dr.Garrison was that he was very concerned
about me. He made me feel totally at ease. Dr. Garrison explained the
procedure in detail, asked me questions about myself and my life. He
has a very caring manner. His office staff were kind and helpful. The
one thing that stood out about him was his easy going personality.
There isn't anything not to like about him. Anyone contemplating
weight loss surgery would make a very good selection in choosing him
for their surgery. He also emphasized the need to become involved in
the weight loss surgery support seminar that he gives. Overall he made

A doctor could have good bedside manners,
but his staff must also have them too. We as patients interact more with
his staff than he as a doctor. I truly am pleased and grateful with all
that Donna and Melissa and other staff members have done for me. Thanks
everyone! I give everyone at Dr. Garrison's office including the doctor a

I knew Dr. Garrrison would be the surgeon for me when he came out into the
waiting room and greeted each patient. I have never seen a doctor do this.
He really cares for his patients. He's also very serious about aftercare,

I had surgery with Dr. Garrison on 6/30/03. He is the best doctor. He
really cares about his patients - he is genuinely concerned. Each patient
is treated according to the patient's needs. A friend of mine had surgery
a day after me, and we were amazed at the differences in our cases. I have

He really cares about his patients... Dr. Garrison is a wonderful doctor.
Future patients should know that he is a very caring surgeon and unlike
the many others that I have met or heard of, he is not out for the money,
he is more concerned with getting you happy then anything else. I am home
from surgery and things went well. I would highly recommend Dr. Garrison.
